We’re on the way! Located at Kilometre 0 (the start of the Okanagan Rail Trail) The Cafe is a meeting point for anyone heading to out on the Rail Trail, Kalamalka Provincial Park and/or Kalamalka Lake Beach. Nestled into the South corner of the historic Kalamalka Store, the Cafe offers a full Coffee Espresso Bar with locally-roasted coffee, Baked Goods, Lunch offerings, snacks and a great place to relax. Our organic coffee is roasted locally in small batches and we bake most of our own offerings in-house. Sunday morning crepes are a fine addition to this neighbourhood favourite. I'm not a coffee drinker, but can say they have an excellent offering of teas. Light snacks are also available. Atmosphere is rustic and comfortable, some toys for the little ones are available in a drawer under the large booth. Sitting on the patio and watching the lake and beach can take hours from your life as you lose yourself in relaxation.

A great launching and returning spot to hang out and grab a beverage or snack after walking or riding the rail trail. The drip coffee was warm and comforting on this fall day. The cookie was a little dry but still very tasty. Staff was very friendly and informative. Also have a selection of locally brewed kombucha available for sale....would love to see the rail trail cafe at the peak of summer.
